Because I haven't been too well this week, I haven't done too much coursework, even though I knew I needed to. I haven't had too much energy, so motivating myself to do work was difficult. If I was well, I would have been more focused on my coursework. However, before today I have completed preparations for my texturing tutorial and recorded it this afternoon. To be honest I was quite surprised at how quickly I finished the textures, even though I have only used basic colours for the robot design. Despite this, with the Blinn texture, the textured robot does look quite impressive and I am fairly pleased with it. I feel if I had more energy I would have added some metallic robot textures to my UV Texture Maps, just to show more effects and effort.

I am feeling a lot better today than I was last week, even though I still have a runny nose and I was quite tired this morning. Although I didn't seem too bored this morning, I didn't feel that I was very productive today. What we need to do is to write a 5 year plan of our future plans in terms of our careers. Even though I have a rough idea of what this could contain, I decided to look back on my reflective learning journal entries and write evaluations on them, which would include how I was writing them compared to now, as well as comparing and contrasting my work and how I was feeling at each point in my reflective learning journal. I've decided to do one evaluation for each whole blog, as each whole blog covers either a module or a term/semester. I have actually found this really interesting, and it's amazing to look back on my thoughts and feelings back then, especially towards the first half of the first year of the Foundation Degree when things were very stressful and I was unhappy at college. I can also see how much I have matured over the past year or so, and I feel that doing well with projects this year and also my work placement has definitely helped me to mature and to also be much more confident. I just really hope I can maintain this confidence and maturity, especially since I will be finishing my Foundation Degree soon.
